TupInsight is a cost-effective EIM product that is based on WinPcap library. It however requires a pre-installed proxy server program or
needs a switch mirroring port/Ethernet hub hardware for its proper operation of packet sniffing on modern switch-based LAN
infrastructures.
There are following main functions of TupInsight (short for Tupsoft Insight):
Email messages (including attachments), uploaded and downloaded FTP files, web sites visited (through preview
snapshots), game activities, chat sessions (such instant messenger conversations as Yahoo, AOL, MSN, and ICQ), and
other use of online applications (self-definable by the user, such as personal stock streamer)
* Freely setting restrictions to all the above-mentioned or specific online activities for an individual host, a workgroup, or
the whole network, in specific time periods, with preset blocking lists.
* Filtrating according to the user's customization, for example, to monitor and record only the "interesting" contents, or to
forgo a small group of VIP hosts.
* Automatically resolving computer names and easily grouping hosts into different classes for better workgroup
administration.
* Easily archiving and searching records, and exporting data to support statistics and report preparation.
