FSI-10 Fiber Signal Identifier is a low-cost, portable instrument designed to detect optical signals without interrupting traffic. During maintenance, installations, rerouting or restorations, it is often necessary to isolate a specific fiber. FSI-10 is recommended for both 0.25mm/0.9mm bare fiber and 3mm jacketed fiber. By simply clamping FSI onto a fiber, the FSI will indicate if there is a signal, a CW or 2KHz wave, or traffic and show the signal direction. It can also be used for locating a particular dark fiber. A highly impact-resistant molded plastic case makes FSI-10 suitable for use both indoors and outdoors.
